LIFE BEHIND THE MICROPHONE
Naomi Lewin began her radio life at stations in Kentucky and Ohio, and finally landed at WQXR in New York. In this humorous talk, filled with audio examples, she discusses how she got started in radio, some of the interesting people she's interviewed (including the famous mime Marcel Marceau!), reporting for NPR, producing intermission features for the Metropolitan Opera, and her program Classics for Kids.
Naomi is available for coaching sessions on how to prepare for interviews with the media, and how get your agenda across.
She also helps classical announcers find new and interesting ways to connect listeners to their music.
